Vantastec Ltd is delighted to announce we have been shortlisted as finalists for two separate categories at the What Van Awards 2020.

The ceremony brings together industry leaders in the light commercial vehicles sector across a number of different categories including Manufacturer of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Van Dealer of the Year and much more.

After submitting our entries in August, a panel of judges has shortlisted Vantastec Ltd for both ‘Converter of the Year’ and the ‘Innovation Award’.

What Van Awards 2020: The Ceremony

Last year’s ceremony saw Vantastec narrowly miss out on winning the reader-voted Converter of the Year award. But, we did receive a ‘Highly Commended’ recommendation from What Van themselves.

This year’s finalists will gather in London for the ceremony on Wednesday 11th December at the Hilton London Bankside hotel. The day will begin in the early afternoon for a drinks reception with guests taking their seats shortly after.

Follow a three-course lunch, the Awards presentation will commence at 2:30 pm, where the winners of each category will be announced.

What Van Awards 2020: The Awards

Per What Van, the ‘Converter of the Year’ award “recognises the increasingly vital service conversion specialists such as Vantastec provide to the LCV industry, whether this is in supplying blue light conversions, large bodies, tippers or bespoke orders made to measure for individual requirements.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Innovation Award’ is for businesses who “clearly demonstrate their product, service or initiative has improved the efficiency of its operation or wellbeing of its users.”

The panel of independent judges comprised of various prominent industry figures will determine the winner as the company with the most significant boost to its business in the function, product or service it has replaced.

Why We Believe We’re Winners

For more than 13 years, Vantastec has provided the LCV industry with the highest-quality temperature-controlled van conversions. Throughout that time, we have utilised our engineering expertise to branch out into other types of vehicle conversions.

From animal transport, catering/coffee vans and one-of-a-kind bespoke vehicles to our robust polyshield conversions, Vantastec makes owning your dream van a reality.

Innovation remains a key part of how we operate as a business. We look to break boundaries.

Recently, our expert engineers discovered a new way of using zero-emission refrigeration units on medium-sized vans without compromising performance, allowing the possibility for a 100% zero-emission fridge van.

Furthermore, our mobile coffee franchise, Coffee Blue,  provides an exclusive funding option called ‘Rent-To-Buy’. This allows franchisees to rent our industry-leading coffee van with outright ownership at the end. No one else in the mobile coffee industry offers it!

Hopefully, we’ll be returning to Ystrad Mynach after the ceremony as winners. We’d like to give a special shoutout to all our customers throughout the years who have helped us get to where we are today. We thank you.
