The Future Is Green

Leading the field in Temperature Controlled Conversions

Refrigerated Electric Vehicles

We’re delighted to announce we’ve developed a unique refrigerated conversion for the new electric Renault Kangoo, Citroen Berlingo, and Nissan e-NV200. Our systems are very user-friendly and improved refrigeration performance guarantees a longer working day.

The conversion comes as a relief to companies interested in purchasing electric vehicles but reluctant to make the change. With higher door-openings now available, electric fridge vans are now a viable option for companies concerned about efficiency and their carbon footprint.

Why go green?

If reducing your carbon footprint is important to you and your business, you’ve probably considered an electric vehicle. Unlike a hybrid, an electric van runs without any diesel or petrol, greatly reducing the emissions you produce.

Alongside being great for the environment, electric vans are also great for your wallet. They generally have lower running costs, and reduced taxes for both businesses and private use.  There are also grants available to people looking to make the change to an electric vehicle – it’s definitely worth your while to consider.

The upcoming introduction of the ULEZ  looks to clean up the air quality in London. Sanctions will be placed on owners of vans that aren’t Euro 6 compliant, which will be costly. To go one step further, a Kangoo ZE or e-NV200 are great alternatives to diesel and can dramatically reduce pollutants as they have no emissions at all.

Ultimately, a diesel van will always win when it comes to door-opening efficiency, but if you don’t need the 5-10 an hour, an electric van will suit you nicely.

Vehicle Expectations

Our standard conversion has successfully completed a rigorous work schedule in our test chamber and with a customer based in London.

We can guarantee a temperature of +3C° and above with our basic unit. This is with an operational running time of up to around 6 hours with 10-15 door openings. This is expected at an average ambient outside temperature of 22°c.*

  • High standard finish
  • No loss of refrigerated load space from adding additional equipment
  • Exceptional payload
  • Best value for money with our standard unit
  • Actively working in the industry with specialist fields that are driving forward with their green credentials

*Standard conversion/refrigeration unit – high external ambient temperatures or increased door openings will affect the length of working hours achievable.
