We Are Officially Homeowners!
Vantastec is thrilled to announce we have finalised the £2.2 million purchase of our Ystrad Mynach headquarters from our landlords.
This news means Vantastec Ltd now owns our 30,000+ sq. ft. home of 10+ years, along with 30,000 sq. ft. of surrounding business properties.
Vantastec has rented the property since 2013 after moving from our previous address in Penallta industrial estate.
The company was founded in 2006, operating initially out of Director, Gareth Edwards’, spare bedroom. Rapid year-on-year growth has caused Vantastec to outgrow our surroundings several times.
When we first moved into our current home on Caerphilly Road, Ystrad Mynach, we only occupied the upstairs office and workshop. Now, our operations cover the whole property.
More space has allowed us to grow our range of services, from fridge and freezer vans to animal transport vehicles and bespoke conversions.
Owning our premises protects us from future uncertainty while allowing us the freedom to explore more projects in the future.
On the news, Vantastec Managing Directors Gareth Edwards and Colin Smith said:

Owning our premises opens up a number of opportunities we can’t wait to explore.
We’ve experienced significant growth since first moving into Unit 6 ten years ago. Purchasing the property outright ensures we have all the tools to facilitate our future plans for growth – which we can’t wait to announce shortly.
We would like to thank Lloyds Bank for their help throughout this process.
Of course, we would also like to thank our wonderful staff for their hard work throughout the years. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
This news comes shortly after it was recently confirmed our employees now own a majority share in the business.
The new ‘Employee Ownership Trust’ was brought into action with the help of the Development Bank of Wales. All 38 employees collectively own a 51% share in the business.

Are you able to install Carrier systems in a supplied van.
I currently have a Nissan 220 and am really please with both the van and the neat Carrier overhead chiller and the equally neat standby plug in.

We do indeed offer conversion-only packages for customers who want to supply their own vehicles. We are unable to convert Mercedes vehicles at this moment, however.
