Frequently Asked Questions
It’s easy. Simply fill out the form above with your vehicle details and we’ll forward them to our network of underwriters.
Whoever comes back with the best valuation, that’s the price we’ll offer you. We don’t make any money on part-exchanges, we just want you to get the best deal.
Not a problem. The vast majority of part-exchanges we receive have finance outstanding.
All you’ll need to do is request a settlement figure from your lender (we can help with this if easier).
Then, we’ll look at how much your part-exchange is worth. If your vehicle is worth more than the amount you still owe on finance, we can settle the balance and use any remaining equity towards your next vehicle.
If your van is worth less than the amount you still owe on finance, we can still help. Get in touch with our team to learn more.
No, we do not buy our part-exchanges ourselves. They are underwritten by our network of traders.
We only sell brand new vehicles. All part-exchanges are underwritten by local used van dealers who then spend money to get them ready for their new owners.
Your logbook (V5C) is vital. If you can’t find this, you’ll need to request a new one from the DVLA.
Service history documentation, locking wheel nuts, spare keys, and vehicle manuals are also preferrable.
Failing to provide any of the above may affect your vehicle’s valuation.
Our underwriters base their valuations on a number of factors.
They key ones are the vehicle’s age and mileage. Service history and overall condition also have an impact.
Valuations may fluctuate due to market demand and current trade values, so the valuations we offer will expire after a set period of time.
You’ll always get more money for your van by selling it yourself. If you’ve got the time and don’t mind the extra effort, we strongly recommend selling privately.
But part-exchanging alleviates a lot of the stresses of selling privately. No hagglers, no time-wasters, and no worrying about receiving payment or any comebacks.
In many cases, our underwriters will still offer a valuation, depending on what’s wrong with the vehicle.
However, the amount you are offered will be considerably lower, to compensate for the repairs needed.
