Our Story
Vantastec had humble beginnings. We formed in 2006 Gareth and Colin decided to part ways with their previous employers and go their own way into the temperature-controlled industry. We started small but improved year-on-year and gained loyal customers in the process.
After establishing ourselves as a trusted name in fridge van conversions – creating some of the most efficient vehicles on the market in both performance and cost – we expanded into new areas, including our ultra-durable Polyshield linings for crew and panel vans.
In 2013, we moved from our small Penallta workshop to our larger facility in Ystrad Mynach, allowing us to keep growing and improving. Since then, we’ve delivered a wide range of standout vehicle conversions: countless fridge vans, extended the life of fleets with Polyshield protection, supported the Meals on Wheels industry, helped entrepreneurs launch mobile coffee businesses, designed comfortable travel for dogs of all kinds, and brought countless bespoke vehicle ideas to life.
